I hate the look of these so much. I know they’re iconic, but hot damn they’re ugly. I admire Porsche’s designs. It is a goal of mine to own one of their cars some day.
But if it’s got those ugly rims on there, I’ll burn it down faster than a new Ferrari. Sorry not sorry.

While I respect your right to have an opinion, I disagree.

I must respectfully disagree...
Okay not that respectfully YOU ARE WRONG SIR.

Wow so much passion against the Fuchs. They look so right on Porsches though.

I also used to hate the Fuchs wheel. Now I quite like them, so I know where you’re coming from. Deeper dish and in 16/17" they look good. 17"s look good with the smaller face inset in a larger drum.
Sex.

I’m with ya. Horribly dated design that wasn’t exactly attractive from the start.

Do NOT disrespect the Fuchs. Do not.

I’m neutral on these, but are you aspiring to own a Porsche or are you going for a Singer?
For a Singer, it should look period-correct so Fuchs are a given and you will probably need to accept that.
Fortunately for you, today’s Porsches come with a variety of wheel designs, of which none are of the Fuchs style. The 991 50th Anniversary edition does come with 20" Fuchs-inspired wheels of which I also have no opinion.

With ya there. Look like they were bought at the automotive section of Walmart. Love the car, hate the hubcaps. Sorry my mistake - wheels.

As long as it’s not on those rims!

I would like to own even a singer one day. And if that day happens, I’ll remove the rims, and put something better on. And I’ll return the rims before I sell it and finance my side Chick’s music career.

Nope. Still ugly.

Aye my eyes hurt looking at them. Looks like they belong on the Powerpuff girls car. Cause then it would be awesome.

I hate them almost as much as the gulf livery revolution that’s happening now!

They disrespected themselves when they came out the house looking like that.

OUT.
![]() 03/14/2016 at 14:34 |
|
So I guess you’re not planning on owning any 911 from 1967 to 1989?
![]() 03/14/2016 at 14:40 |

I was already out. Being in is conformists. Down with them both!
![]() 03/14/2016 at 14:41 |
|
Yeah. But I’m fairly certain there are at least 1000 sets of rims out there that look better than those. And when selling, I’ll just pull the ole ugos out of the garage and slap’em back on!

I'm not overly wild about them but they look period correct so I think it works for the car
![]() 03/14/2016 at 14:59 |

Meh, period correct in my eyes only matter in concourse and resale.

I agree, they’re Fuching ugly.

Oh hell no!

I’m with you. they look like a pressed steel baking pan.

The Gulf thing I am with you on. Not EVERYTHING has to be mf-ing blue and orange. Keep it tasteful. It’s like when everything became General Lee-ified for a while. Porsche 917 in Gulf: GREAT. VW Golf in Gulf: TERRIBLE.
